Congratulations to JET Alum Danielle Reed

We are so proud of our team member, Danielle Reed! Danielle recently received the prestigious John & Hiroko Malott Leadership Award at the Japan America Society of Washington, D.C.'s Capital Gala this past October in 2024.

This award honors those who make a significant contribution to the future of US-Japan relations by increasing mutual understanding and cooperation between the next generation of Americans and Japanese. We definitely see those qualities in Danielle as she leads our Microgrants for Current JETs program here at USJETAA. Congrats, Danielle! Danielle has educated and encouraged hundreds of current JETs through their various Microgrant Projects, which have impacted thousands of community members across Japan. Her professional approach is mixed with sincerity and true passion for the work she does in the US-Japan space. Danielle deserves all the accolades and recognition that comes with this award!
